Gold-Plated ‘Kalash’ Installed at Ram Mandir, Ayodhya: Grand Rituals to Begin June 3

A golden ‘kalash’ has been mounted on the top of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, creating history before the consecration of Ram Darbar. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has uncovered this installation, which has lit up the temple’s spire, which is visible at a distance. The temple compound is currently a hive of activity as preparations are underway for the mega event.

Consecration of the Ram Darbar and six other temples on the temple premises will be performed on June 5. The ritual would commence at 11 am on the auspicious Stable Lagna and Abhijit Muhurat on Ganga Dussehra. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guest, and 101 Kashi and Ayodhya scholars will also be present.

The religious program will start on June 3 with special pujas between 6:30 am to 9 pm. Women devotees will make the arrangements for Saryu Jal Kalash Yatra on June 2. The grand Pran Pratishtha will be done after 11 am on June 5.

In addition to the Ram Darbar, the temples of Lord Surya, Ganesh, Hanuman, Shiva, Goddess Bhagwati, and Goddess Annapurna will be consecrated. Jaipur sculptors have produced the Ram Darbar idols using Makrana marble. Despite the rituals, Ramlala Darshan will be accessible to the public.

Bright flags, garlands, and decorative lamps are hung in the temple, making it look like a festival. There is increased Security and logistics to facilitate smooth proceedings.
